ditch the popup mechanism, make some static assemblies that will be flush with the bodywork. Might not be a bad gas saver.

Ehh it doesn't look that bad. I would need to swap the bug standard air-cooled unit for something that can cash the checks the body is writing.

I'd postulate that crudely-implemented pop-up headlamp facsimiles of that ilk consign any car to "crackpipe" status by default

I have the original manual and a CD with lots of videos and manuals from other resources.

WHAT? He has a CD? I thought all of these came with a photocopied instruction booklet that has been wet at least once with no less than five missing pages.
